Welcome from the Headteacher
A very warm welcome to Lime Wood Primary School.
Since opening our doors in September 2023 to our very first Reception class, Lime Wood Primary School has continued to grow alongside our wonderful community. We are also excited to be opening a specialist resource provision in Autumn 2025, further enhancing the support and opportunities we can offer our children.
We are proud to be part of the Erith Hills Quarry community and are dedicated to collaborating with parents, carers, residents, and local businesses. By fostering these partnerships and listening to our community, we aim to provide an education that nurtures life-long learners.
As the Headteacher of Lime Wood Primary School, I am both delighted and privileged to lead this wonderful, nurturing school. Inspired by a TED Talk by American educator Rita Pierson, who emphasized that “Every child needs a Champion,” I have adopted this as my personal mantra throughout my career within the Woodland Academy Trust. This philosophy aligns perfectly with our Trust’s ethos: “Ignite the spark, reveal the champion.”
It also shapes our school vision:
'To deliver a curriculum led by excellent teachers, supported by a robust framework for excellence in culture, behaviour, attainment, and wellbeing – to find the champion in everyone'.
Each year, our school continues to grow- welcoming new children, staff, and members of our community. Together, we will help our school flourish in the years to come. I look forward to getting to know all the children, parents, and carers who will join us on this exciting journey.
