Inspiring Digital Learning in Action: Visit from Sync
We were delighted to welcome Charlie from Sync to our school this week. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to share how our Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach, alongside the effective use of digital tools, supports accessible and inclusive learning for every child.
Throughout the visit, Charlie saw first-hand how our teachers, support staff and pupils collaborate confidently using technology to deepen understanding, enhance creativity and empower learners. It was inspiring to see digital tools being used meaningfully across the school to support engagement, communication and independence.
Our pupils played a central role in the visit, with our Digital Champions and Children’s Champions proudly showcasing some of the excellent learning happening in classrooms. Year 1 pupils demonstrated their maths learning using Magma Math and showed how they animate images in Keynote to bring their ideas to life. Year 2 pupils impressed by retelling stories using Pages and emojis, and by using PixlArt to explore and test their understanding of lines of symmetry.
We were incredibly proud of the pupils’ confidence, communication and oracy skills. They were superb role models and ambassadors for our school, articulating their learning with enthusiasm and clarity.
A special highlight of the visit was Charlie completing our community tapestry, adding a meaningful contribution to a project that represents collaboration, creativity and shared values across our school community.
